Use your stash challenge.

This is my entry for the 'Use your Stash' challenge. Although the background stamps are old favourites, I had not used the main image by Paperartsy. It seems that whenever I buy a sheet of stamps, there is always one I find a bit challenging. This card is my first commission! I hope the recipient likes it!
Supplies used: Distress Inks, Nick Bantock Dye Ink, Perfect Pearls, and stamps by Paperartsy, Aud Design, and Hero Arts.
Thanks for the challenge, Kym!

Colour challenge #5

This is straight lift from Nancy Curry's book "Texture Effects in Rubber Stamping", as I was a little short of time and inspiration this week. The technique is called 'Bargello', after the embroidery technique. I also used the faux batik technique, as it's one of my favourites at the mo. Stamps from Aud design, inks are versacolour and whispers.
Hazel.

Gnome Sweet Home

Sometimes you get those little free stamps as part of an order that you just don't know what you are going to do with. This little Gnome stamp was just such a stamp. It was included in an order from 100 Proof Press. Luckily Aud's stamps provided the perfect solution - a Gnome House!

Colour Challenge #1 - Red, White and Green

OK, here goes: the first Colour Challenge on the UK Stampers board! To start off, we are going to use Red, White & Green, however, one little rule - no Christmas cards. This is not a colour combination that we tend to use very much so that is why I thought it was a nice challenge to start with! Think Italian flag, Portuguese flag, Cherries, houses, blood (if you want to go Gothic) scenery, Football team colours, Folk Art, Clowns, etc. I am sure that you can think of far more than just these ideas. You can use other colours in your composition, but the predominant colours must be Red, White & Green.

Post your picture here and make sure that you add your name and pick the Colour Challenge #1 label from the Labels list below so that we can see all of the entries in one place!

Good Luck & have FUN!
