This is straight lift from Nancy Curry's book "Texture Effects in Rubber Stamping", as I was a little short of time and inspiration this week. The technique is called 'Bargello', after the embroidery technique. I also used the faux batik technique, as it's one of my favourites at the mo. Stamps from Aud design, inks are versacolour and whispers.

This is fabulous work and that is not 'lifting' in my eyes. You have used the technique and you did it proud, with your own stamps and design and that is what these books are written for!! Your interpretation of the technique and the challenge is lovely.
Oooh fabulous bargello - it's something I've been wanting to try out for ages just don't seem to get around to it. I wouldn't say you'd lifted it from Nancy Curry either more been inspired by her.
Hey that's fabulous !!!!
ohhh very nice. You've done a fabbie job of this. I love the technique, and clearly need to get that book.
