Sunday Challenge 46U for Unusual

When I saw this weeks challenge I immediately thought of Tom Jones and It's not unusual and try as I might I can't move away from this idea. So I gave in and went with it. Here's my tag , I haven't played for a while as I've had other commitments but I really enjoyed it.

I've brayered the background with ariondack ink, raspberry and citrus, stamps are Blonde moments and a scrabble letter, words are printed from my computer and sponged.

Well, Ive gone with unusual tales and pictures.... very hard this week, the only stamping is on the letter U!

My inspiration for this was picture of an unusual patchwork curtain in a magazine. The seams are all fluffy.

'U' for Unusual

This is a bit of a feeble' 'U for unusual'.... instead of using stamps I have used something a bit more unusual to stamp with.... the bottom of bottles and glass vases to make all the circular patterns on the tag. Background was made by the distress inkpads on the craft sheet and mist with water technique (softer colours as it was the second tag) The U is a bought chipboard letter, gessoed (...is that a word?) then inked with distress inks . Stamped with a crackle stamp, inked around the edges, covered with diamond glaze.
