Although this has scanned a bit pinky it is Versafine Crimson Red.

This was inspired by a tag I received from Sid in a swap many moons ago.

Week2 rolling recipe challenge

this uses one stamp (6buttons on stamp), I attached the ones on acetate with thread as the glitter on the back made them difficult to glue on.

This is this week's tag. The stamps are from Paper Artsy and Rubbernecker and I just love that quote. I could not help adding a beaming sun and somehow glittery Ice Stickles worked its way into the tag too.

Well the tag is copied from January's craft stamper (I said it all looked so do-able at the time!) and the glitter isnt showing up well but the writing is glitter embossed on one of the strips.

Here is my entry, bit late but I have started crafting again after a bit of a block ! Instructions on my blog as usual.

Tag recipe week 1 - Craftyhazelnut

It's quite a while since I joined in the UKStampers challenges, but thought that, as it's a new series, I'd try to join in.

So here is my first tag made to recipe 1:

I decided to incorporate the Leonardo stamp that I had for Christmas (I used it before here).

I chose a piece of beige cardstock that had a texture to it and brayered it using a couple of Ariondack rainbow ink pads. I then added a little distress tattered rose (I've discovered this needs to be re-inked or replaced), sanded it a bit and then stamped my image and heat embossed with black detail. I only had cream lace, so I brayered that a bit and then added strips of stickles gold - I wasn't really keen on adding the glitter, but it was in the recipe, so I thought I ought to!

I had to take the photo at an angle because otherwise the black embossed areas reflected the flashlight too much.

Here is my offering for this week - quick and easy as I am busy making houses :o)

The background is sponged Distress inks and Clarity ruler stamp. I bought the lady Imagepac stamp on ebay ages ago and gave her a lace skirt from a scrap. I coloured her shoes, top and hairpiece glittery red with Sakura pens and gave her a black Stickles belt.

My tag for the rolling recipe challenge. I did cheat with the lace effect edge, rather than real lace!! Hope that's okay... some glitter spots to the medallion central image adds the required bling!

Here is my tag, the lace is from a scrap piece from my wedding dress, the writing at the bottom says: Queen Anne's lace. You can't see the glitter very well on this photo.

Yes Ok I KNOW it's really late but after a lot of scrapping I just wanted to do stamping and colouring in!

Twelve days of Christmas: Day 12

Here is my entry for the Twelfth and final day. The main stamps are by Creative Expressions and the backgrounds are various Imagepac stamps I bought at shows. I used watercolour pencils to give vibrancy to the main character, and highlighted the sun with Jelly Roll glitter pens.

Just as I thought this was me done with the challenge I decided to bind all the pages into a book so I need to create a couple of cover pages - more on this to follow then!
