M for Mystical

Inspired by Maria's unicorn tag (thanks Maria :) ), I decided to dig out my unicorn and do an encaustic tag. The castle is a stamp I carved myself from an eraser. The image is a bit darker than the tag IRL.

Faux Dichroic

This faux dichroic is soooo faux I didn't even use glass! LOL. I used small pieces of mountboard covered with aluminium sticky tape for the base. Then completed the pieces as usual. The one in the middle I made the mistake of sprinkling some silver embossing powder on the top, but it just looks like a gray shadow. (Doesn't look quite so bad IRL ) The largest piece is 2 inches square.

Challenge 51 Z is for Zoo

Here's my tag at last. It was a bit of a struggle due to lack of the right stamps but found these after a good hunt through my stash. Big sort out now in order I think!

Z is for Zoo

I am still playing catch up with the tags but here is my Z for zoo

U for Unusual Tag

Unusual coloured roses are the idea behind this one; to me roses are red or pink, not blue and lilac!

Sunday challenge No. 51 zoo

The writing says 'who's watching who at the zoo?'.
Instead of bars there are sometimes glass windows so I used acetate as a window so the writing is on the acetate.

Sunday Challenge #51

Couldn't think what to do for this and nearly didn't but inspired by the others, here it is!

Sunday Challenge #51

This is my effort for Z for Zoo - quite difficult to get started !

Ooops my Q tag!!

Very late I know but I am starting to catch up!!! My first successful resist stamp!

Z is for Zoo

I nearly ducked out of doing this one - I found it so hard, especially with no zoo animal stamps. It if had been Zettiology I would have been fine! This is meant to look like an old fashioned outing to the zoo. The elephant is dropping the letters Z O O through the bars. (Well I thought they are always picking up things with their trunk and dropping them!) I also printed out a little French entry ticket to the Zoo to go with it.

You wouldn't think that a simple thing like this would take a couple of hours to do would you? But it did.

Z is for Zoo

Quite a simple stamped and inked tag (included a Z for zebra too!). The letters were stamped onto card I'd inked with distress inks, then cut out and the giraffe head was cut out from an inked piece of card too so she could peer through the letter.

Sunday Challenge 50

I've missed a load of tags but I had the time this week to join in. Phew it was a toughie until I came across a jean's tag I'd been keeping. I know I know I'm a saddo for stashing clothes tags but it came up trumps this week!

Well I found this really difficult - I wanted the tag to be meaningful to me afterwards and I dont like graffiti! Anyway, this bit of graffiti is on a wall near my favourite beach so it will have to do. Still not sure I really like the tag.

Sunday challenge No. 50 G for graffiti

It is meant to be a white washed gable end.

Sunday Challenge 50 - G is for Graffiti.

My favourite so far - I love graffiti so had lots of fun with this one. The odd little person is from Starvin Artist stamps.
